The Dough Shack started with one question: what if we just baked things the way our grandparents did — slowly, by hand, with nothing to hide on the ingredient list?
We opened our doors on NC-12 in Waves, right where the Outer Banks breathes easiest. Every morning at dawn, our ovens fire up. Sourdough rises. Croissants fold. Coffee brews. There's no rush here — just good food, made the right way, for the people who live here and the travelers who happen upon us.
